M+C Degree Apprentice becomes media star!

M+C, Essex County Council’s Enterprise Advisory Service, RICS, and Anglia Ruskin University’s employability service have joined forces to produce a short film this week. The film’s purpose is to promote links between businesses and students from KS4 onwards, and features the practice’s Degree Apprentice, Michael Smith. Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) – 2017 Successes

Munday + Cramer has again seen extraordinary growth in work secured under the Condition Improvement Fund from the EFA. For the fourth successive year, the Essex building surveying and architectural practice has outpaced the market. Projects with a total value exceeding £20.0M have been secured; representing a 63% increased in workload secured compared to 2016. The Condition Improvement Fund is organised by the Education Funding Agency annually. The fund is competed for by academy and free schools across the UK, to support condition-related projects. Multi-Use Games Area for Avenue Primary School

Avenue Primary School are the latest school to commission Munday + Cramer for a new Multi-Use Games Area. The East London school, located in Manor Park are looking to improve their flexibility in inclement weather. M+C have provided all design and planning work, and are now project managing the scheme. ETC Sports Surfaces are currently delivering the scheme on-site. The new Multi-Use Games Area will replace an underused grass area to the rear of the school. Summer work experience placement

Munday + Cramer are happy to announce that Michael Smith joins the practice for work experience. Michael joins for a number of weeks over the busy summer period. Currently in the 6th form at a local school; Michael is using his work experience placement to gain a greater understanding of the construction industry. He hopes to pursue an engineering or construction course at University in the coming years. Michael will shadow a number of M+C staff over the summer.
