Over the past month, our team has been conducting a thorough taste test of mince pies from the leading supermarkets. The Challenge We sampled mince pies from a comprehensive selection of retailers: Tesco Marks & Spencer Waitrose Asda Sainsbury’s Costco Morrisons Each mince pie was meticulously rated on a scale of 1-10, taking into account factors such as pastry quality, filling, and overall taste. M+C’s Christmas Party at Barleylands! What a night to remember! The M+C went to Barleylands for our annual Christmas do! The evening was absolute amazing. Between the endless rounds of drinks, impromptu dance-offs, and bashes in the dodgems, it’s certainly a night to remember. Looking around at everyone’s grinning faces, it was clear that this year’s do was one for the books. Here’s to the M+C team – knowing how to work hard and party harder! Capital Grant to Deliver 300 School-based Nurseries


The Department for Education has launched a new initiative aimed at expanding early years provision across the country. The School-Based Nursery Capital Grant scheme offers eligible primary schools up to £150,000 to convert surplus space into nursery space. The announcement highlighted that the scheme is to support the 2025 scheme to provide 30 hours/week of government funded hours for childcare and early education to working parents.
