Raising The Roof At The Sacred Heart Of Jesus Roman Catholic Church

Works have recently started on-site at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Southend.
The works include a range of external refurbishment/repair works, a roof replacement and internal remedial works. This extensive scheme follows a detailed investigation in to the cause of leaks; found to be a result of a progressive failure in the roof covering and fabric of the building, leading to both dry and wet rot in the roof structure and subsequent internal damage.
A busy church in the heart of Southend; works will be undertaken whilst the church remains open, with works expected to be completed in mid-June.
