We always have opportunities for new entrants to any of the services that we offer. In recent years, we have been highly successful in establishing and developing Degree Apprenticeship roles across the building surveying profession, in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University Chelmsford. Our practice comprises qualified professionals who provide high quality mentoring at all levels.
Being a Surveyor is a varied and rewarding career. You will undertake surveys and reports on varus buildings, prepare specifications, contract administration roles, carry out site visits & reports.
We will enroll you onto a four-year degree apprenticeship with one of our partner universities.
Alternatively, you will need a degree within building surveying or a similar pathway.
Architects design a range of buildings and projects - from domestic extensions to large new buildings such as schools and medical buildings. No two projects are ever the same.
You would need to complete a degree in architecture to be able to practice architecture. The degree is split into three parts.
Project managers lead teams and keep projects on budget and time. They control quality of the projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools.
You would need to complete a degree in project management or a similar pathway to practice project management.
You will work alongside surveyors, architects and engineers to develop and improve buildings including carbon assessments, thermal/BIM modelling and energy audits.
You will study at university to achieve your degree in a recognised and professionally accredited discipline such as Surveying, Engineering or Real Estate Management.
From working in the private housing market and helping to restore historical buildings to advising on large-scale commercial projects, surveyors are central to the construction industry – and building surveyors play a vital role in every project.
