M+C Supports Macmillan Coffee Morning

Munday + Cramer joined Macmillan to be part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29 September. As well as inviting contractors and colleagues for coffee and cakes; the multi-disciplinary architectural, building surveying and property management practice asked staff to leave their CAD desks and laser levels aside to take part in a ‘Bake Off’ competition.

The combined coffee morning and bake off was the brainchild of Munday + Cramer’s Office Manager; Karen Lilley. Karen said “Macmillan is an amazing charity; those who sadly have had cancer touch their lives and were fortunate to see their loved ones and family supported by the Macmillan nurses will agree that this is a very worthy cause.”

And it’s not just Munday + Cramer staff who took part in the event. Contractors and colleagues were also invited, voting for their favourite cake to crown the winner.

A fun morning was spent, with a lot of cake and coffee consumed. In the end; Lucy Judd was crowned the Bake Off Champion, narrowly beating Tayyab Qazi to the win. The event raised £335 for Macmillan.
