All applicants will receive an email in spring 2025 informing them of their application outcome. The Department has confirmed that they will aim to complete all notifications by the end of May 2025.

Successful schools will receive:

• Detailed information about payment processes
• Clear guidance on reporting requirements
• Specific timelines for implementation

Note: If you submitted any supporting documentation via email, these will be available to download through the system from January 2025.

Registration Interest For The School-Based Nursery Capital Grant

Although the registration of interest period has now closed, the Department for Education will use the information gathered to shape future developments of the programme. Schools who registered their interest may be contacted to discuss support options, any contact made will not affect the outcome of future grant applications.
