Structural Surveys – Metropolitan Housing

Munday + Cramer secure another appointment from a new client. Hot on the heels of William Borlase’s Grammar School; Metropolitan Housing Trust have commissioned M+C to carry out structural surveys to staircases in a block on their Clapham Park Programme.

Working with the social housing provider; M+C will undertake the structural surveys and coordinate the design of new steel replacements. The block is undergoing a wider stairwell refurbishment to maintain standards within the development. Steel replacements have been selected to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations and offer greater longevity.

The scheme adds yet another social landlord to the list for M+C, which also includes Estuary Housing and Southern Housing Group where a range of services are already delivered. Associate Director Lewis Barr noted that “this appointment backs up our efforts to secure additional clients in the social housing sector, and we hope to use this as a stepping stone to future successes”.
