Tag: New Starters

For any successful business, new starters bring with them a number of benefits. New, experienced team members can provide new ideas, and help round out the overall skill set. Similarly, candidates who are new to the job market often inject a burst of enthusiasm and energy into a sometimes jaded work force.

There are a number of things that businesses need to take into account when trying to attract new talent. In addition to competitive salaries, flexible/home working and non-monetary benefits, such as gym memberships rank highly among job-seeking professionals. Furthermore, it is important to consider the hiring process itself. Whether using a recruitment consultancy, a head hunter or your own methods, processing applications and conducting interviews is a time-consuming process. You’ll need to ensure that you give sufficient time and personnel to a recruitment campaign in order to be successful.
