Education and Skills Funding is provided by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). This is an agency of the department of England (DfE).

The funds provided by the Education and Skills Agency are used to fund education and skills providers, including:

maintained schools and early years institutions, through local authorities
academy trusts
special schools
colleges
independent training providers (ITPs)
high needs institutions

Many academies choose to select a consultant to help them with their application. Essex-based architectural and Surveying practice, Munday and Cramer have a high success rate and actually secured 5% of the total national fund last year for their partner academies.
