We recently finished a beautiful kitchen extension in Essex that’s made a real difference to the home. The project started with a simple goal: create a bright, open kitchen space that works for everyday family life.

A flat roof with a large glass lantern helps it flood the kitchen with sunlight throughout the day, making the whole space feel bigger and brighter. We also added a pitched roof section with a high, vaulted ceiling that houses a handy storage area and a separate toilet.

What makes this extension special is how well it all comes together. The modern kitchen looks great under the natural light from above, and there’s plenty of room to cook, eat, and spend time together. The storage area means everything has its place, keeping the main space clutter-free.
