M&C Attend Careers Fair at Moulsham High School
M&C attended the careers fair at Moulsham High School in Chelmsford, engaging with students to showcase exciting career opportunities within the built environment. Our focus was particularly on Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship programme, offered in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University.
This apprenticeship programme offers students a unique opportunity to earn while they learn – combining four years of practical experience with a fully-funded degree qualification. Apprentices graduate debt-free whilst building valuable industry experience and professional connections.
The built environment sector currently faces a significant challenge with an aging workforce. Many experienced professionals are approaching retirement, creating a need to attract and develop new talent. Through initiatives like the degree apprenticeship program, M&C is actively working to bridge this skills gap and nurture the next generation of chartered surveyors.
Our stand generated lots of excitement and energy amongst the students. Our current apprentices shared insights about their own experience as apprentices and how they took interest in the field. The interactive sessions generated engaging discussions about career progression, day-to-day responsibilities, and the benefits of choosing an apprenticeship pathway.
