M+C Hosts Record-Breaking Macmillan Coffee Morning

Munday + Cramer recently hosted yet another Macmillan Coffee Morning at their South Woodham Ferrers office, raising an impressive £1,023.00 for the cancer support charity—their highest total ever!

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning helps to raise money for cancer patients while also indulging in some beverages. With 9.6 million deaths worldwide each year, cancer ranks as the second most common cause of death. But with early detection, prevention, and treatment, an estimated 3.7 million lives might be saved annually.

The success of M+C’s Macmillan Coffee Morning was due a collective effort of the team at M+C and the local community who attended and filled the atmosphere with joy and chatter. In particular Emma Wood took the lead in organising the event, inviting local businesses and contractors and ensuring there was plenty of fresh coffee and delicious cakes on the table. Karen Hatwell’s fridge cakes were amazing, earning rave reviews from the attendees.

The event saw a fantastic turnout, with many people joining to enjoy a wide selection of homemade cakes, delicious coffee and by engaging in conversations with contractors and local community members.

This Macmillan Coffee Morning not only raised vital funds for cancer support but also raised awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and early detection. M+C  thanks everyone who contributed to making this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning their most successful yet.
