Examining The Lifetime Skills Guarantee


Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently outlined his plans for a new ‘Lifetime Skills Guarantee’ in which tens of thousands of adults will be able to study on free courses, from next year. The media-grabbing figure was that the scheme is supported by a not-insignificant £95 million from the National Skills Fund (NSF). The programme is specifically aimed at those adults who don’t have any A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications). M+C Degree Apprentice becomes media star!


M+C, Essex County Council’s Enterprise Advisory Service, RICS, and Anglia Ruskin University’s employability service have joined forces to produce a short film this week. The film’s purpose is to promote links between businesses and students from KS4 onwards, and features the practice’s Degree Apprentice, Michael Smith. M+C’s involvement M+C have a long established history with nurturing local talent, and has strong links with both Anglia Ruskin University and William-De-Ferrers School. Heritage training (CPD)


In line with Munday + Cramer’s continued focus on ensuring that staff receive Continuing Professional Development (CPD); staff recently took part in a Heritage Building Workshop at the impressive Cressing Temple Barns, near Braintree, Essex. Alongside M+C’s work within education, the practice sees a significant amount of work undertaken to either listed buildings or within conservation areas.
